Terms & Conditions
Please read these service terms carefully before booking your move.
1. Accuracy of Declaration
Customers must provide an accurate and complete inventory list during the pre-move survey. If significant discrepancies are found in the inventory on the day of packing, Hareesh Packers reserves the right to revise the final quotation. The customer shall be solely responsible for any "hidden items" or undeclared goods.
2. Prohibited & Restricted Items
Hareesh Packers & Movers strictly prohibits the transportation of certain high-risk items. We shall not be held liable for any loss or damage if the following items are packed without our knowledge:
- Valuables: Jewelry, hard cash, bullion, and original legal documents.
- Hazardous Goods: Inflammable items (Petrol, Kerosene, Gas Cylinders, Firecrackers).
- Perishables: Food items prone to spoilage or leakage.
- Contraband: Illegal substances or prohibited chemicals under Indian Law.
3. Insurance & Liability Claims
We facilitate transit insurance through third-party providers. The following terms apply:
- Transit Insurance: Covers damages only in the event of a vehicle accident or natural calamity.
- Comprehensive Insurance: Covers breakage during handling, loading, and unloading (additional premiums apply).
- Claims for any damages must be reported at the time of delivery. Processing of claims will only commence once the full service payment has been settled.
4. Payment Terms & Schedule
Our payment policy is transparent and mandatory for all clients:
- A 20% advance payment is required to confirm the booking and reserve the slot.
- The remaining 80% balance must be cleared immediately after loading or during transit.
- Payments are only accepted through official company bank accounts or authorized digital payment gateways.
5. Cancellation & Postponement
If you need to reschedule or cancel your relocation:
- Postponement is free of charge if requested at least 24 hours prior to the moving date (subject to availability).
- In case of cancellation, the booking amount may be forfeited if our crew or vehicles have already been mobilized for your request.
6. Logistics & Site Constraints
The customer is responsible for obtaining necessary parking and entry permissions at both the pickup and delivery locations. Additional labor charges may apply if the vehicle cannot reach the doorstep or if the walking distance exceeds 50 meters.
7. Vehicle Transportation (Cars & Bikes)
For vehicle relocation, the fuel tank must be less than 1/4th full. Customers must provide copies of the Registration Certificate (RC), Insurance, and PUC. Personal belongings must not be stored inside the vehicle during transit.
8. Dispute Resolution & Jurisdiction
In the event of any disagreement or legal dispute arising from our services, the matter shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in [Insert Your City Name], India.
